Been searching around, but it seems no adapter for watch sport version yet. eBay starts showing black version, but I'm looking for aluminium sliver version, which would have color match with watch sport. I know there are many stainless steel, which doesn't look too bad, but I wonder whether now we have perfect color match for my watch sport, following Apple's measurement guideline.

Anyone knows about this option yet?

I'm guessing this one doesnt match perfectly either. They all seem the same!

I wonder what the people in this industry are doing since there are more apple watches sports sold than SS ones!

The description says they're steel.

I ordered one that said it was CNC-machined aluminum but it still hasn't arrived yet. I ordered black though so I won't really know if it's aluminum until someone posts the weight of the steel ones.

Link?

I've been holding off on ordering the Click until I see finished prototypes. Their website still shows (what I hope is) a previous design that is very bulky, and I until either see someone else's or that's taken down, I won't feel fully confident that isn't what they're shipping.

Otherwise, that's probably what I'll end up going for, since if you go for the SS model for the next version, all your straps will still be useful and all you'll need to do will be to purchase a new SS adapter.

The one I linked actually says CNC-machined aluminum.
I don't know if they really are but the ones I received are a perfect fit and finish. I ordered the black though.

So the one you got matches the space grey sport exactly?

Nope. Not even close.
:(
I meant finish as in smooth and even, not color.

Why is it so hard to find an aluminum adapter? I even saw one that was aluminum color on the part that is concealed inside the watch but shiny on the visible part!

I ordered the one posted above with the understanding that they would have an aluminum finish (like it says it would), but they came in the mail today and are shiny stainless steel. It honestly can't be that hard to make an aluminum adaptor.

Making it might not be the problem.
I'm wondering if the same design in aluminum wouldn't be strong enough.
Those skinny rods are awful thin to begin with and then they're hollowed out at both ends for the screw threads and in the middle where the two pieces mate.
We just might have to wait for a sturdier design like the one from Click.
Or someone could make a steel one and give it a bead blast finish to try and mimic the aluminum.

The only real option I've come across are on the Monowear straps as they allow you to select an adapter finish which includes the Aluminium matt silver.

You could always take a ScotchBrite pad to one of your shiny ones and remove all the shine.
Won't be a perfect match but it won't be so glaringly mismatched.
