Correct. Someone said it is becuse of the SSV (Signed System Volume)Wait, so the login screen doesn't use your wallpaper for its background in 11.2?
New in Big Sur, not new in 11.2.Is SSV a new feature in 11.2?
New in Big Sur, not new in 11.2.
Yes, that is how it currently works with Big Sur.1. On the 11.1 General Login screen I see the default wallpaper. This makes sense because multiple users might have different wallpapers and as a single user I am almost never at that screen
2. When I click on my user name I see my desktop wallpaper as its background (Catalina still displays the default wallpaper at this stage).
3. When I wake from sleep I see my wallpaper because it is the same situation as #2.
4. If I click on Guest I get the BigSur wallpaper because it is the same situation as #1.
Is this how 11.2 works?
He is working on 3.9.4 now, one of things to be removed will be to toggle on or off the startup chime since you can do that thru Big Sur now. It won't allow the changing of the login screen, this macOS won't allow you to do it, as far as I know.Wondering when the developer of the Onyx (tweak tool for Mac) will release a version for Big Sur? On his website it says that it will be released 2-3 weeks after Big Sur has been released to the public and it was on November 12th. Hope he has not stopped developing Onyx I love this tool.

Onyx is now 3.9.6 (and you should update to macOS 11.4).What's good Versus Onyx 3.9.2 (201223) for my machine on 11.3.1 ?
Do you have FileVault enabled? On Macs including Big Sur, that I have FileVault turned off the login screen is my wallpaper, on Macs with it enabled it is the Big Sur wallpaper, when it wakes from sleep it shows the user wallpaper because it was already unlocked at startup. I thought that's how it worked in Catalina and continues to work in Big Sur. I might be wrong tho.1. On the 11.1 General Login screen I see the default wallpaper. The greying out of date and time has nothing to do with Onyx. It is because Do Not Disturb in Big Sur was somehow turned on. Accidentally by me? Possibly. Now that it's turned off, date and time is lit as normal. I am posting this for others' benefit.Hi, I am on Big Sur 11.4 with Onyx 3.9.7 on my M1 MacBook Air. Onyx 3.9.7 and its previous version, 3.9.6, grey out the time marker on the top tool bar. Of course, they wipe out the widgets as well. Any solutions?
