Click to expand... not really bothered to catch a thief TBH if they feel the need to steal and keep someone’s else property so be it. quick question thou to keep the iPad activation locked I take it I have to keep it listed under my devices and I don’t remove it from my Apple ID

Yes, I believe so. Removing it from there turns off Find My iPad and Activation Lock as far as I know.
