I don't get Luddites who won't move on and recognise that 16GB is plenty on a phone for the majority of buyers. I don't even use hard drives anymore having music stored online in different locations and streaming Play Music or Tidal lossless with an unlimited 30 to 60MB 4G data connection and around the same speed on home wi-fi

I also have a Chromebook with 16GB space - I've never run out, my Xperia XA will never see a microSD card and guess what? Its 11GB internal will be plenty for me.

Exactly the point I was trying to make. Everyone uses their devices differently. You are fully adopting cloud storage and streaming services so local storage is not a big deal for you. I get that. And there are others who prefer to maintain local storage. Nothing wrong with either method, so why criticize those who don't do things the way you do?

Wait till they go on a cruise, or go camping far away from cell towers...they might sing a different tune then.

Nothing beats local storage at times. Not to mention that streaming also uses some battery.

I use photobucket for uploading all my photos from my phone. I have a 128GB but I've just gotten the phone and haven't added my music to my phone yet. My Ipod has 64GB and it's almost full from my music and a couple of movies.

Recording a lot of 4K stuff lately, and it eats up my 64gb (couldn't afford 128) and it isn't really an issue for me. I don't have 50 games installed, and once my pictures are on Dropbox, they get removed from my phone unless I am actively using them, etc. The same with the 4K stuff. It syncs up remotely and gets removed when I am done with it to keep it clean. I am sure if I delete nothing and keep installing games and big apps, it will start complaining too.

I haven't added my music to my iPhone 6s Plus 128GB yet. I just been using it for photos and videos. I still have a bit over 100GB left. I utilize iCloud Backup with a paid 100GB storage option.
