The store ones are the same as the others, they don't have time to cherry pick. Mine was brighter than a demo unit, for example. It's just a lottery, as most things in electronics. If they would toss less than perfect iPhones they would cost 3000$ a pop, minimum. No iPhone is perfect. Maybe one with a beautiful screen will have sub par battery life, like mine.
This is likely to be a bit of an exaggeration, although I did find that my first iPhone 13 Mini had a slightly better display. I also noticed a scratch on the antenna line from the moment I took the second unit out of the box.

There’s a solid degree of variance and tolerances that makes it so anyone with a perfect iPhone should hold on to it if possible. In my experience most iPhones shouldn’t have any issues. There may be a slight scratch from the factory, which I’ve been able to wipe off in past instances, or panel variance when compared directly to other iPhones. I was surprised how lucky I’ve been up until this point; however, there are no defects which would cause me to otherwise exchange it and the battery life has been surprisingly decent.

Maybe I'm a bit OCD but in every Apple product I had I could spot tons of little imperfections. Nothing really worthy of an exchange, and in fact I never do unless it's a big problem. But modern mass production is far to be able to manufacture perfect products, there is a quite bit variance from every unit, and expecting perfection is just an impossible dream. But yeah, it's still better than many other brands.

Yep, never ended a call with  or left the  store disappointed.

 support & service is always on point. ?

Also managed to get quite a bit of free accessories along the way as well. ?

Great company to deal with.

I bought two Iphone 13 Pro model, one from USA and other from India however the India phone always had a deeper dark display with less brightness as compared to USA one. Apple though says that both phones are identical however I see the difference and sent to service center. Even the engineering team is not finding issue which tells me that Apple themselves are biased in there products for different region.

Just see the photos attached. Red cover phone is from USA and other from India. To my surprise, Apple support and Planetcare service center in India sucks and said two phones of same model can have different display and yellowish tint. LOL however they dont want to give in writing. Apple strategy :(

Have you tried turning off reducing white point in accessibility/display and text size settings? My phone came with this setting on...

Thank you! was comparing my IPhone 13 pro max and one had a brighter display than the other. Went to this settings and found there was another auto-brightness setting on the bottom of Display & Text Size. Turned it off and now it's the same brightness on both phones.
