Streaming 4K Files to the Apple TV

Hi All,

Is it possible to play a 4K Movie file on the Apple TV?

Can you do this by adding 4K mp4s to iTunes, and stream it the conventional way in full quality? If not, can you use some other service like PLEX?

I have not tried playing a 4K movie via iTunes Homesharing yet, but Infuse can play 4K files from a network share on the ATV 4K (HDR is not supported yet, but that will come in an udpate this month).

I have tried and it plays back ok.
Current tvOS will not autoswitch the HDR mode, so everything that has been written about that so far, still applies.
