Stuck in Shenzen

Mine is currently doing a world tour. It was supposed to arrive today but so far it as been to:

Shensen,
Bangkok,
Mumbai

It is now stuck in Mumbai with a an expected delivery date of Monday :mad:
 
Mine's gone from Shenzen to Denmark! Needs to come to the UK. Estimated delivery date of the 28th. I live right near the airport though. Hopefully it'll come today or tomorrow D: I don't want to wait until Monday!

My Ipad is in Transit forever now

Its been 3 Complete days in transit if i see by HK time.

mine is the exact same way. I'll call fedex tomorrow if it hasn't been updated tomorrow... Grr
 
I called Fedex, they say, it is still on schedule and they know they have to deliver by 29th and will b dne....very optimistic...haha....letc

Where did you order it from? Does Apple in US send a single iPad all the way from China??

Apple sends products individually packaged and addressed in bulk from china to the US (usually Anchorage, ALaska) from there they clear customs and are distributed to regional FedEx Distro centers.
 
Yes, mine is getting shipped directly, atleast thats wht it says at on fedex website. It shows the destination as mine.
 
There seems to many issues with FedEx in Shenzhen and Lantau. Make sue to talk to FedEx IP Department, demand answers. Also, use flight tracker for extra fedex information (google fedex flight tracking). In the end you will usually find that FedEx will deliver on time. They also have been acting like UPS, with regard to their online tracking system.... I.e technical issues with updating it.

Also use Yahoo Small Business Fedex Tracking, it is usually more reliable than the info most Fedex reps have in front of them.
 
Ah! the Yahoo Small Business tracking has an update for me. actually more information than fedex tracking. If you want to look : http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com/r-packageTracker-s-fedex That had an update today for me, so mine looks like it is in Alaska, which isn't too bad. It probably will get here tomorrow as planned if it is like the trip my computer did. (anchorage - memphis - sj - home) in a matter of a day.
 
:)i jst called fedex, ma ipad is in Alaska clearing custom, and will b delivered 2moro. 4 sum reason they donot have the latest updates online.

I think our ipads are on the same flight/path until they get to the major sorting station down here, likely memphis. Mine is in Alaska too and the tracking information is identical as posted earlier.

You might appreciate this small bit of irony: I'm sitting - well actually lying on my bed at 1:50am - in Discovery Bay* on Lantau using my wifi-only 64g pad to watch the final episode of Lost. I've had mine now for about two months. I ordered it on a recent trip home in April at the South Coast Plaza Apple store in California. Since it didn't show up at the shop until the day I left to return here, my brother had to pick it up and have it couriered to me. So while your ipads have undoubtedly traveled a long way to satisfy your cravings, mine has had to make the trip twice.

Since that time my iPad has crossed through its birth city, Shenzhen, at least nine different times as I've had it with me on numerous cross border trips for business and for sporting activities.

Thought some of you might find that as amusing as I did.

Stuck on Lantau Island

It's Tuesday afternoon and my photo adapter kit is still at the FedEx facility on LANTAU ISLAND HK. It's supposed to be delivered tomorrow here in California. I don't get my iPad until next week, so this isn't of much importance, but I'll be interested to see if they make delivery tomorrow.
 
Did you look at the yahoo business fedex tracking to see if there is am update there? It might have been updated there and not on the fedex site. Either way that is what I thought was going to happen but it was shipped real quickly over a day and a half and was delivered on time. Loving it!
