It's actually twice the student discount, at least here in the States.

Here's the price comparisons for the three pre-configured models, on the US sites:

from the normal US store:
$1,999 $2,499 $2,799

from the US Education Store:
$1,799 $2,299 $2,599

from the US ADC Store:
$1,599 $1,999 $2,239

Edit: Here's the AU ADC Store and more info on the program in Australia

Do you have access to US ADC prices for a BTO option? If you do, could you please tell me how much this system would cost:

"Specifications

* 2.33GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
* 2GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM - 2x1GB
* 200GB Serial ATA Drive @ 4200 rpm
* SuperDrive 6x (DVD+R DL/DVD±RW/CD-RW)
* MacBook Pro 15-inch Widescreen Display
* Backlit Keyboard/Mac OS - U.S. English
* Accessory Kit"

Looks like the above link was session-based, if you want to play with the prices yourself, check here, and then click on "ADC Hardware Purhcase Program Store"

Can one add the edu discount to this or not?

I talked to someone online a while back because I was thinking of doing the same thing as I was somewhat unhappy with my macbook and wanted the onboard accelerated video. The guy said that its one per school year, and I believe he told me the date flips around July. I seriously doubt they would stop you at the apple store though.
