Stuttering in the App Store?

iPhone 13 Pro here, are you finding stutter scrolling in the App Store? IE., reading the long description while scrolling stutters quite a bit. The initial page scrolls fine.

same here… 11” iPP 2020&21, iPadOS 15.2… everything smooth till one expands the description section.

iOS 15 just seems to have quite a few issues with frame drops and stuttering. Hopefully a fix is coming.

Yeah. Thought it was just a thing with my iPhone 13 Pro but it happens on my M1 iPad Pro and iPhone 7 too.

I have that too on my XS running 15.3 b1. iOS 15 in general has a lot of inherent stuttering and framerate issues.

Where else do we see this sort of issue? How likely will this every be fixed? Need to decide if I should keep it or return it.

gets reduced when you limit frame rate under accessibility /motion. happens on my iPhone 13 pro. Also on my iPhone 8 which is lcd. Seems like an App Store issue.

even if NOT limited: the stutter appears after expanding the text field with the info to an app - if the text exceeds a certain length, scrolling stutters (e.g. youtube). If the info text is short, all is well (e.g. AmongUs).

Yes, if the text is just a few lines short like those made of Apple, no problem. However, after expanding the text field, scrolling stutters.

Some progress is happening for sure, 15.4 b1 seems to run a bit smoother than before.

But it's still not where it should be, the stutters are still present.

for what’s worth, it finally gone on my 2020 and 2021 iPPs too. ??
