I would have to agree, although maybe NEED is a bit dramatic, I would like those two themes. Source?

if you download themes off the internet, how do you get them onto your phone?
thanks
espo

Use "WinSCP" if you are in Windows (not sure what the equivalent program is for a Mac) or SSH client. You'll also need to make sure "BSD Subsystem" and "SSH" is installed in your iPhone (thru Installer.app).

Download file(s) (here is link to English translated version I created of Buuf 2):
http://rapidshare.com/files/98909250/Buuf2.zip.html

Extract the archive to any directory

Using WinSCP (or Mac equivalent), copy folder containing desired theme (in this example, it will be "Buuf2") from your computer to following directory in iPhone (directory may be different for older iPhone firmware versions):
/var/mobile/Library/SummerBoard/Themes

Press "Restart Springboard" button in "SMBPrefs". You are done! Enjoy! :)

Some icons will not work with buuf2. Refer back to alfredog1976's post at modmyifone's site for renaming instructions.

Good luck.

I've renamed them already to save everyone some time. Link to zip file with renamed icons is on my previous post :)

Great work

I have been looking at all of the great themes. Is there a site I could go to learn how to do this?

i prefer icons which have a square around them, like all the apple ones

more appealing and smart looking

Firmware version doesn't matter, the reflective dock is usually part of the theme package. You can create your own and replace it by replacing the one in /System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app/SBDockBG2.png

This one doesn't seem part of the theme. I for one have no clue how to make a new dock and get it on the phone unless I was walked through step by step.

I do wish there were docks that the top part around the icons was transparent that allowed my own background. I just want that darned reflective part.

Where can I get this theme? And does it work with 1.1.4 iPhones?

The theme is called Louie Mantia (I think?!) - Agua it's available under Themes (Summerboard) in Installer, under the iPod Touch Fans repository. If Summerboard works fine on 1.1.4 then this theme will, I combined the dock and background of the Agua skin, and copied the icons folder from the Sol theme into the Agua folder, so it's a mix of Sol and Agua. :apple::)

:) OK - the Agua in installer doesn't have the reflective dock. Just a black plain bar across the bottom.

Aw come on guys - help a girl out with this foofoo dock - will ya?
