I love some of the themes, but how can I add my own custom icons to a certain theme?

For example, I love "Paxman" but I would like the replace the text, youtube, and calculator icons. Any easy way to do this?

sFTP to your phone and the icons are in var/root/library/summerboard/themes/theme name/icons.

The icons need to be the same name as the app. Just plop them in the icons folder and reset springboard.

Here's a theme I whipped up a little while ago. Unfortunatly the oversize icons don't work with Summerboard so its a combination of permenantly changing the dock icons and using Sb for the rest.

How can i get that Shadow thingy on my dock that looks really nice!!!

If you mean the reflection of the dock icons, it's in some of the themes. I use phiberglass, and it has the reflections in it.

Louie Mantia is also my favorite... alot of them look ok but i have the Louie mantia with a touch dock... check it out...

i have the 4th row hidden but the rest of the apps are under...

I use the skip last row option to hide the additional apps I installed but that additional app was the summerboard app which got hidden...so I'm not able to change the theme anymore...any suggestions as to what I should have done...so what to do now?

Heres a photo of mine, though I do change it every few days cause I get bored pretty quickly. I was using neonstandard, but just switched over to this.

If you can still see the installer app icon, go on there and install 'launcher'. That will be like a windows start menu for all apps on the phone. Using that, I have hidden the tech apps, leaving only my games and installer. Let us know if that works.

Summer Board:: Theme: Oren, Theme Wallpaper: off (Wallpaper from Interfacelift), Wallpaper alpha around 90%, Hide Icon Labels: On

I've never seen this before. I installed Summerboard. MY GOSH, THIS IS COOL!

How do you change your carrier image?

Maybe a link on how to use?

Thanks!

p.s.: My feelings about Apple preventing this sort of thing are going from bad to worse... :(

I've installed every theme available for Summerboard, so I know what are the best ones.

Here is mine:

Congrats on making the phone more personal. And look, you didnt even take down the A&T network. To change your carrier logo, install the customise app. Then grab some of the image files that go along with it.

How did you hide the icons?

I didn't, uploaded new icon.png files for the dock icons and use summerboard to change the rest; although I could have just uploaded new icons into the application folders.

rSBT will let you hide applications, but then you will need to use a Launcher to use the apps.

How to use the Skip Last Row option in Summerboard?

I saw that there is a "Skip Last Row" option in SummerBoard. I used that option once but then the Summerboard icon itself went missing. I didn't how to proceed so tried uninstalling it through iBrickr and the phone froze...so I had to restore and unlock it again.

Can someone please explain me if I need to use some other tool along with summerboard if I'm using the Skip last row option? Or will the icons be available if I scroll through the spring board after using the "Skip last row" option? Can you please let me know?

Where can i find complete details about the summer board features and the Dock features?

I'm not crazy about the icons so i'll probably switch them up soon.

Edit: I'm getting an incorrect file extension when I tried to upload the pic.
