Benks is a winner. As slim as Pitaka but offer all around protection. The four corners at the front are ever so slightly raised.

Also it’s cheaper and doesn’t show fingerprints as much.

You seems to not know about latest Pitaka cases that are also covered on all sides and without those ugly cutouts, that is often sharp.

I can only recommend Pitaka Ultra-Slim Case, or much better case - Arc Pulse.
I was big fan of aramid cases, but Arc Pulse completely changed experience of using my phone.

I know about the military grade pitaka. But they are just another standard case and not really super slim which is what the OP was looking for.

No, I don't mean Military Grade. Just classic MagEZ case, that is now version 6. It has completely close top and bottom.

Pitaka always sets the direction for other companies.

Benks was always to heavy for me (cca. 28 grams). Pitaka has only 21 grams!

But the bottom is not fully enclosed. The edge above the charging port is exposed.

Benks is 21g as well

They’re both very similar. Benks wins for me as it’s cheaper

Did you measure it personally? Unfortunately Benks was always heavier.
I don't want to ruin your happiness with Benks, I tried few cases from them already. They evolving very well, but Pitaka is always one step ahead even if is more expensive.

I had Benks Armor Air on IP14PM for few weeks and after that I mentioned scratches on the frame. This is never happens with Pitaka cases.

My phone case requirements are:
  • Minimalist style
  • As thin as possible (I don’t care about drop protection)
  • Magnets built in, for my MagSafe wallet
  • Not too slippery
My go-to brands each year are Totallee and Peel and have what I believe are their thinnest clear cases with MagSafe.

In my pics, Totallee Clear Grip Case is on the left and Peel Magnetic Case on the right.

The Peel case is almost perfect to me. Super thin and strong MagSafe grip. The clear hard plastic makes it slightly more slippery than I’d like but still has grip to it. I tried the matte colored version of this same case and they are way too slippery for my taste. All buttons have a cutout but are super easy to press due to the thinness.

The Totallee case has TPU sides, which gives it just the right amount of grip but it makes the case about 2mm wider and taller, compared to the Peel one. It has nice buttons built into the case (except Camera Control) but the increase in thickness makes the Camera Control button a bit difficult to use.

I’ll be keeping the Peel version.

I went with the super thin Totalee with no MagSafe. Paired with an OhSnap 4 luxe. Works well and I noted that the charging is cooler than when using a Mag-safe case.

I dunno if it’s the slimmest but it is pretty slim and only weighs 30g for 16+ and has MagSafe: ESR zero case

Also pretty cheap. Like $9.99 or under

All TPU I recommend for the money

Thanks for the feedback, but man, the Peel one has the ugliest and longest bottom magnet I've ever seen on a MagSafe case!!

Bought both Benks golden tide and Pitaka Milky way galaxy locally. Both feel equally thin to my hands. Pitaka got similar bigger opening than benks. Benks also got a slight lip above the screen even with a screen protector installed.

However, Benks got some serious QC issues. I changed 3 at the store itself and yet there are still defects. The 1st has leftover glue on the case that r not removable and feel very rough, the 2nd has black marks all around the case. I believe it is due to some of the Kevlar threads not properly dyed. Everything looks good on the 3rd until I put my phone in and realize the lip at one of the corners r much higher than the rest. The overall quality on Benks leaves very much to be desired.

Pitaka QC is so much better but I prefer Benks case design with edges wrapped around the phone rather than straight edges like Pitaka.

I guess Pitaka charged a premium for the better QC and finishing.

Disclaimer: I am not affiliated to either companies.

Caudabe Veil for iPhone 16 series is much improved this year and has great grip. I think it's definitely a good option for anyone looking for a super slim case.

I'd recommend Casefinite as another slim option. They're not the cheapest but good quality products. :D

Nudient is worth looking at as a slim case option. I mostly use Pitaka but the nudient thin case is only a little thicker (note I am on a 15PM and haven’t used the versions for the 16’s)

I have Nudient for iP14PM and its still heavy and not that slim. Also comes cracked. Not recommend it.
Caudabe Veil not have MagSafe magnets.

IMHO only aramid cases can be considered as super-slim with magsafe. Or Arc of course.

Are all of the Pitaka cases the same thickness? Looking for an ultra slim case with magsafe and no cutouts (except camera control, I can deal with that one). The pickings seem slim

I've been a big fan of the Peel MagSafe case for the last few years. I had one for my old 12 mini and use one on my 14 Pro. No issues with either.

I’m not sure. I think the Tactile Woven is a little thicker than the Ultra Slim.

Because it is so thin will the MagSafe magnet stick at all?
