I also thought the SP4 was too expensive and that the IPP didn't have enough functionality. I ended up getting an HP Spectre x2 with M3/4GB/128GB with LTE for $599 and it includes a very nice keyboard.

Thanks, that meets all of my needs. I was wondering though how is it for playing videos? I mostly need it for work so the videos would mostly be youtube and hopefully some 1080p.

I was also wondering if Cortana works on it as I believe the Surface Pro's can use it but not 100% sure.

As it's the full W10 these tablets can still get viruses right? All I do is use office, youtube, e-mail, normal browsing so I shouldn't get one but I seem to have bad luck when it comes to PC's.

I play all sorts of videos and they work fine, including HD YouTube. Cortana works for me, too.

As for viruses, Windows Defender seems to do a good job but the best protection is to avoid bad Web sites.

I've been really happy with it so far. My only issue is that LTE seems locked to Verizon.

Thanks for the response. I'll have to see if I can see one of those in person soon. Only thing I'll need is a USB to USB-C plug for my flashdrive. Other than that it looks nice.

Has everything I want to and I'm really liking the keyboard.

Mine came with an adapter. So it's included. Also it has an SD card slot.

Wow, keeps getting better and better. I was going to wait until August/September to get a new tablet and see if the surface's get a price drop or something but this makes me want to go and get one now.

Having had all the previous surfaces, and now having the iPad pro, i bought the sp4....SHOCKED

i remember how i loved my sp3 and writing on it..i guess i have been spoiled by the Apple Pencil..the writing experience on the sp4 is not as good...

When you press the pen on the screen there is a "trail" like water-drop effect..super annoying

I like the eraser and i like the feel of the tip of the surface pen..but the pencil on the iPad pro just feels more predictable and natural
