Try using Malwarebytes instead. Much more reputable solution.
I already mentioned above that I downloaded Malwarebytes.
I quarantined the found items anyway, so it didnt find anything and it's the first time Surfshark has found anything.

[...] but now that I think about it I was watching Malcolm in the middle from some (sketchy) streaming site and before you judge there's no way I could watch Malcom in the middle legally. Every legal way I tried told me that it's not available in my region and even when using VPN I couldn't find a legal way to watch it. So it might've come from one of such sites.
I deleted those files now and I also downloaded Malwarebytes and it couldn't find anything.
I feel your pain there — and the entertainment industry’s greed is its own discussion rant. I also occasionally utilize such Websites. For me, the reason is typically the rare desire to watch some extremely cheesy/corny movie from long(ish) ago. Honestly, most of them I choose to hunt down that way probably can’t even be called cult classics, unless three people counts as a cult. LOL! I’m talking like <15% approval or something on sites like Rotten Tomatoes. They’re movies/shows that often aren’t even popular enough for torrenting (e.g., ThePirateBay). To me, it’s one of those, why aren’t they free on Tubi, Crackle or something? It’s not like the studios are losing out on a cash cow — maybe $50 a year of revenue from the five people that might rewatch these “bad” movies. By the way, I have other entertainment tastes, those are just outliers. And sometimes I give in if the rental for said movies are, say, $2.99.

EDIT: Circling mostly back to subject...

The above is one of the reasons I have multiple Web browsers. More specifically, I’ve been using Brave (in Private window mode) to do searches and visit/view sites I know are going to have a lot of intrusive content, as Brave is by default a little more aggressive than something like Safari at blocking such content, and something I have no interest of having in my browser history. In contrast, I use Chrome for YouTube and product-centric web searches as I know Google is going to aggressively slurp up that usage data anyway. Edge for Microsoft (e.g., Bing (Rewards, AI image generator), Xbox) and other sites known/presumed to be optimized/tested specifically for Edge/IE. Safari is for general use and my most trusted for sensitive sites, logins, what have you. Probably not the perfect methodology but it has worked okay thus far — until I decide to change/adapt.

I already use Adblocker on my Mac and iPhone and iPad
Try a different ad blocker or a different filter list?

Most blockers are just ad removers. Just because you don't see the ad, doesn't mean it didn't get downloaded to your computer before it got cleaned up. Also, the filter lists are always playing a cat-and-mouse game of trying to get rid of the ads that still manage to get through, so you might have just had a gap where a bunch of nastiness snuck through.

One of these days I am going to learn how to do this at my router level with DNS filtering or VPNs or whatever. I just haven't researched it much. I just hear the phrase pihole and giggle like an 8-year old.

I didn't even know that surfshark is antivirus scanner I thought that it was only VPN service spammed by youtubers :-D

Surfshark has VPN, and it also hides your e-mail (like iCloud HideMyEmail) and also your phone number, but you cant use their phone numbers for verification codes etc, so I don't know what's the point of that? And then they also scan for your data in dark web.
They have alternative ID, a service where they create an email for you (like iCloud) and also a phone number and a random address and name.

They also have a webcam protection and a ransomware shield and they constantly scan dark web for the information that has been leaked about you etc. It's not just a VPN and I have a subscription till December 2028. So far I haven't had issues.

I haven't found any good adblocker for Safari. I paid for one adblocker but it doesn't really work as advertised. Safari doesn't have as good extensions as Chrome or Firefox. I don't understand why.

I thought Surfshark was just something that YouTubers try to shill to their audience…
They are much more shady and sophisticated. When I was trying out their trial, I had some issues and went to Reddit, their support is active on that subreddit. Surfshark got caught using Reddit bots to upvote shilling and any one with genuine issue or concern would get downvoted heavily by bots. Run a good service, shill less with bots on social media.

I use wipr for years. It’s pretty good and non-subscription. I also use proton vpn which also block the ads.

Try brave browser, it works great on my iPad Pro for ad block. Never tried it on Mac though.

I'm not worried about the viruses. Don't even really care if I have any viruses. You wouldn't get any money from me anyway since I simply don't have it.
My brother says the same thing while he's making purchases on his iPhone. Everyone has something of value whether you know it or not. You may not consider yourself a high value target but your infected system can be used to infiltrate other targets. Indifference to threats can expose others to infection and/or criminal activity. I don't open attachments from my brother for this reason.

... should not be a problem as long as you follow best practices: visiting valid, known good sites that are secured, and only enter information at these legit sites.
I'd add, remove all extensions installed in any of your browsers. Browser extensions are often used as paths for malicious injections.

Wipr 2 is effective, lightweight, and modern.
