iPhone SwipeNav not working in Messages?

Anyway it's true it doesn't work on messages

Do you have any idea exactly when it stopped working in messages? I am considering selling my 4S and getting one w iOS 6 on it but want to make sure this works.

Don't know what you expecting it to do.

Being in Messages I can return from inside any chat to the conversation list by just swiping the screen to the right.

Can you swipe from anywhere on the screen or only the far left?

I'm swiping from the left edge and yes, it still works.

I can swipe from the far left edge and it works, that's SwipeBack not SwipeNav.
