No protector...much of the time it may be laggy
But it looks seems like I have to touch too firmly and it's innacurate in precision of where I touch..?
Sounds like you got a bad device. I'd exchange it for a different one.

The only thing I would watch out for is a quick price reduction. The Galaxy Tab Pros saw a quick price reduction that became permanent. The only other thing to consider is the 16GB storage. I purchased a Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 that has 16GB and it goes by quick especially when all the Samsung apps begin to update like their office apps.
A MicroSD card does help but you can't copy an app 100% to the SD card and some apps are forced to stay in the device internal storage.

I paid a lot of money for this samsung, now I can't tell if its not responding to my commands because the system is unresponsive (half the time i think this is the reason) or because the touch sensors are not sensitive enough to recognize my command! further, half the time i try to switch tabs in a browser it closes the (system says i hit the x button on the tab). Poor touch accuracy! Beyond annoying...WTF gives..? I've got $700 into device and case!!!!
If you've got to get an Android tablet, I'd get a Nexus or something that's actually going to get OS updates, never a Samsung.
Android has much higher system requirements than either iOS, or Windows Phone, or even real full Windows. It's generally much less responsive and the touch screens tend to be worse too.
The only thing I like about Samsung's tablet lineup is just that there's a 12.2" model which might work great for Marvel Unlimited.
Not in the eyes of the apple fanboys.
Ha good, whatever suits your needs at the end of the dayI own a Nexus 4, am I an Apple fanboy too?
Seriously. I just don't like Samsung but love my Nexus.
Researched traditional comics ratio and surface pro 3 will show most comics WITH smallest amount of black bars on the edges of screen. It's also 12".
Yeah, I'm seriously considering getting a Surface Pro 3...mainly as an ereader, though obviously I'll probably end up using it for other stuff too (since it can run steam, it'll sync my Marvel Puzzle Quest save over! Important to do in bed )
It seems like the perfect aspect ratio and size for graphic novels and magazines. 16:9 leaves lots of wasted space, and even 9.7" on my iPad is still too small.
The only catch with the Surface Pro 3 is Marvel doesn't have their "Marvel Unlimited" app available for Windows 8 yet. Technically it'll work through a browser because of Flash, but...
I was a bit worried because of the fan that that would be annoying, but a bunch of people on another thread have told me that the fan on their Surface Pro 3 doesn't come on (or else is totally silent) unless you're doing something fairly strenuous. Like one person said the only time they'd heard it was (I think?) when they were installing Office 2013 and also copying files onto it at the same time, and even then it was quiet.
Sooooo get the Marvel Unlimited app on there, Marvel!
I replicated all my problems on the store display model tab s 10.5. Mine is as Samsung intended, apparently. For this kind of money it's unacceptable, it's going back for a surface pro 3. I don't like all the google cystomer spying / tracking anyway, I just liked the Samsung screen.
Thanks! I want that Marvel Unlimited app, but otherwise the Surface Pro 3 seems a lot better. I'll probably get one soonish :-D
Well, it's a bit unfair to compare the Tab S with the Surface Pro 3.
You're comparing a full laptop PC with a ARM-powered tablet.
