Who switch back to an iPhone just to watch the Keynote?

I own a 6s plus, watch, 1 macbook air, 1 macbook pro, tv and an ipad air.
For the first time I got really bored watching an Apple keynote. They lost the wow factor.
While others are talking about VR, AR, etc, Apple focused on Mario, Pokemon GO, Jet black... I mean, seriously?
Apple Watch 2 it's a welcome upgrade, Airpods got me excited for a while but then...?
Last Google I/O has been massive in terms of new things and WOWs. Does it matter? For me, a lot, especially if at the end it's influencing my decision to spend my money. They also raised the prices to their phones for what reason?

It also happened that yesterday I bought a used Nexus 6P to give android a try. Guys I got my perception stuck at Galaxy S3 crappy experience, what a progression they made! I'm really keen to see the new Pixel phones, if camera and battery life are good... boom, I'm done.

There's a few things annoying me about my S7E, mainly to do with software bugs introduced in recent updates that are likely to never be fixed. I'm also not a fan of the image processing on the S7E in Auto mode and have resorted to shooting exclusively in raw to compensate.

With that said, I haven't owned an iPhone since the 3GS days although I do presently own an iPad Air 2 and am somewhat tempted to try out the 7 Plus. Maybe it is just the recent hype surrounding the phone but I'm legitimately debating selling the S7E and making the jump.

Am I crazy for contemplating a switch to the 7 Plus from a relatively new phone with arguably better hardware?
Sometimes better hardware doesn't translate to better phone experience, my Note 5 with more ram gets laggy compared to my iPhone 6. I think Apple has a perfect software hardware combo. I still really like my Note 5, so the lag doesn't bother me much. I do want to chuck it across the room though :D I personally want to see it in Jet Black in person before I make any decision. Before Keynote: Solid No, After Keynote: Maybe :)
