I find it a lot less intuitive than the iPhone. Everything takes an extra click (ie switching off wifi. On the iPhone I swipe up and switch it off. With this I have to swipe down, click settings then wifi then on/off or open app draw-settings - wifi-on/off). But that's hardly a gigantic effort. So I can't say its a con when using the phone.

two finger swipe to access quick settings instead of swiping down and going through the menu.

I havent really had an issue with the keyboard and found them pretty much the same as iOS, which I only mention since you came from using that.

I've no idea either. I just find tit really difficult to type. Looking at them they're identical. iOS and android keyboard. But for some reason I struggle with the android keyboard.

It could be that I've had the iPhone for years so autocorrect has learnt my typing style which I believe it's supposed to do. As swiftkey does and it will improve the longer I stick at it.

I'm trying new browsers but still can't find one I like. Same with Twitter apps. I just assumed both tweetlist and atomic/perfect browser would have android versions. Since most everything is available on both. All other apps I use are.

You should probably wait for the newest Android OS "Lollipop" to hit first. There are many updates that come with Android L that are "inspired" by iOS 8 like actionable notifications.

I understand that coming from an iPhone to Android might make the moto G lose its appeal, but for a fresh smartphone user, the Moto G is undeniably a better deal all around.

What's wrong with Chrome or Mozilla Firefox?

As I said above. I want proper tabs.

I already stated I think the Moto g for it's price is a cracking phone. It would be a cracking phone at double the £105 I paid for it.

But as I said earlier. It doesn't bring anything new or improved over what I already have and I'm wondering if I've bought it for the sake of buying it. Which is why I'm contemplating returning it and just carrying on with the 5.

Understood. You seem already happy with the 5. It doesn't seem like you really need any of Android's advanced features, so I would also recommend that you stick with the 5 and not waste money on an additional phone. Maybe when you're ready to upgrade you can decide again which direction to go.

I have no idea. I tried swiftkey and ai keyboard. But I just find them both awful. I have to delete and re type everything about 10 times. Stock is best (for me personally so far) but that's not great either.

I want a browser with proper tabs. Tabs that are lined up at the top not hidden away and I have to click a button to show them. I can see what tabs are open by just glancing to the top of the screen.

Is there a tweak that scrolls to the top of a page by tapping the status bar?

Will try that. Thanks!

Maxthon Browser has the tabs aligned at the top.
