For all of 2020 I switched from using Mojave on an older RMB 2013 to a Windows 10 machine and I'd been using iTunes 12.xx manually syncing music to my iPhone as I have been with any iPod I've owned for the last 15+ years. For the holidays I decided to get back into Mac and purchased a new M1 MacBook Air. After setting everything back up in the music.app and syncing to my phone, it seems my phone is no longer updating recently played songs or play counts. I confirmed this by plugging it back into the Windows machine and looking at "last played" and nothing had been updated even though I've listened to a bunch of albums on my phone. At first I thought this was purely music.app but now I am under the firm belief that it's a problem with iOS 14.3. Just wondering if anyone has encountered the same problem and whether this is a known issue.
