Syspolicyd making apps very slow to open on M1 Max

Hi all,

I'm not sure if it's relevant, but after opening the Microsoft Edge browser, the problem seems to deteriorate: Both the Edge browser and then other apps take a very long time to open.

Has anyone had similar experiences with Edge? I normally don't use Edge, but one launch seems to have been sufficient to cause or exacerbate the problem.
