T-Mobile USA has deployed HSPA+ on its refarmed PCS 1900 MHz spectrum in 23 cities, covering 100 million people with the improved service, according to CTO Neville Ray.

$35 for 350 minutes, unlimited text and 5GB of 4G data would be even better


but it won't likely happen anytime soon.

I don't talk much but 100 minutes isn't quite enough for me. If it were 500 I would go for it.

Assuming that someone gets really great TMO 4G coverage - I'm having a hard time seeing how this couldn't be good for someone.

I've had this plan on my iPhone 4S, now 5, since last July. I absolutely love it but fully expect T-Mobile to get rid of it once the iPhone fully comes on board.

My guess is they will probably move up to something like $50 monthly for unlimited talk, text and 2gb's of data.

Agreed, if you don't talk much it is a great plan. While I don't talk a lot, I do talk more than 100 minutes a month.

They already have a plan similar to that. I don't think they're going to change their plans when they officially sell the iPhone. T-mobile is still in last place and they will be there iPhone or not for the next couple of years.

Doubt it. This plan, along with dropped subsidies and inclusion of values plans, will singlehandedly distinguish T-Mobile from it's competitors. I can't imagine them removing this attractive plan for customers -- given the size of their customer base in relation to the other larger carriers.

TMO 4G coverage is good in urban area, poor in rural area.

But they are launching LTE next year so that will help with higher speed.

I hope Tmobile refarms their 3G network fast and start shaking up the 2 big carriers with value plans like that.
Competition is great, and more carrier options with more data or unlimited data is great.
Maybe verizon and AT&T will start getting some competition from Tmobile and will stop giving less options to their customers and charging more for less.

Generally when a company sells their product for a lot less than their competition, it's because their product sucks.

thats pretty damn good, if you're on one of their phones that support "wifi calling" thats FREE, unfortunately not on an iphone (yet? maybe a selling point next year) but tmobile offers wifi calling for free if you're on of their supported phones....although i guess you can use Skype, viber, etc to do same

which carrier and is it no-contract too? that sound like a good deal

3 lines with each line having 1000 minutes + unlimited text + 2GB of 4G data?

so 3000 minutes + unlimited text + 6GB of data between the 3 lines right?

I come from the 100 million in a refarmed city of Minneapolis. The T-mobile 1900 Mhz is a sham. Do not waste your time and money. The company refuses to even show their 3G coverage maps! I put away my iPhone 5 in just 2 weeks of edge and went back to the Samsung Galaxy S2. You get what you pay for. You will never be able to hit the 5GB limit on T-mobile poor 3G network. It is sham and a fraud.

You must be outside the US. Only carrier I could find with something close to this was T-Mobile Value Plan.

It's with t-mobile on contract, but i believe all three lines share the 1000 mins

What's it's useful for is not having to worry about being charged a crapload of money if you go over. They have unlimited 4G/3G plans as well but for more money.

It's a good option for prepaid. I decided to go with Virgin Mobile though, because of coverage.

Generally when a company sells their product for a lot less than their competition, it's because their product sucks.

That's not always the case with everything.
Some do it cause they want to take in new customers, Or for a small period of time, some do it cause they rely on low profit margins but high volume in customers to make up for the loss and many other reasons and things to factor in.
Not saying that Tmobile is up to AT&T's or verizons level but they are much better than Sprint and some other regional carriers.
