Ordered SG 64GB iPhone X on Nov 18th with ground shipping
Original estimated ship date: 12/1 - 12/8
CC was charged for down-payment this morning and estimated ship date is now 11/27 - 11/29
(I'm trading in my SG 6S+ for the $300 offer)
:)
Update: Shipped last night, delivery on Thursday. I changed delivery to a UPS store since I won't be home. Oh well, I can wait another two days as I get home after the store closes on weekdays...

Sorry to hear about your wife’s delay. Let’s hope it gets to her soon.

I was hoping to get mine next week. Gotta birthday then. Oh well, it’s not like I haven’t been disappointed on my birthday before. ;-) Maybe life (and T-Mobile) will surprise me.

Silver 256GB ordered on 11/6 (same time as my SG 64GB that i’ve been using for more than a week) finally shows as “shipped.”

I mailed it off on 11/14. It was delivered on 11/16. Here is a screenshot of my tracking. Also I received a text on 11/19 my trade-in was complete and I received the $300 credits over 24 months.

Hi Stacey,

May I ask what you sent for the trade-in? Did you send the cable, charger, earbuds and original box as well?

Thanks,
Dale

All u have to send is the phone . Nothing else . Although I do send my original box back with the phone every time . But that just cause there’s no point in keeping it once I no longer have the phone

Thanks for the information! I've traded-in with Apple, Best Buy and NextWorth in the past but this is my first time with T-Mobile so I wanted to verify

Have a great day!.

Walked into an apple store today and bought a space gray 256gb GSM unlocked (atnt) iPhone X and it only took about 20 minutes to wait.

Can I ask a stupid question does the ATT model support T-Mobile? Curious if I can just buy any 256 available at an Apple Store and plug into my sim?

Thanks!

I canceled my order with T-Mobile on Sunday because the local Apple Store had a silver 256 gb in stock. It was the Verizon model, but I didn’t have any trouble ordering through the app. The only trouble was that I wanted a friend of mine to pick up the order, which we’ve done several times before. That didn’t work out this time. The local Apple Store is a 45 minute drive from me. I had to go Monday morning to pick it up before work (I work from 11 to 11, so I got to the Apple Store at opening and still got to work on time).

But, I got it. I really like it.

So, good luck to everyone who is still waiting.

If you buy it full price at the Apple Store it should be unlocked. Just take out the ATT sim and put your sim in before powering it up for the first time.

The exception seems to be Sprint. I’ve heard the all the Sprint phones are locked.

Yes but carriers require u keep the phone with them for at least 3 months depending on carrier before they unlock the device

So I changed both my phones this morning from being delivered to my house to being picked up at a Ups CC. Now it says “Exception and Date Tentative” instead of the Friday delivery it had prior. Is that normal?
Hi did you get your delivery?
I have the same issue right now and i want to know if you got the package.

Hi did you get your delivery?
I have the same issue right now and i want to know if you got the package.

I ordered an iPhone X in late November then change delivery to a UPS store. That went without a hitch - it arrived at the store on the original estimated delivery date.

And then, my wife decided she wanted one too after trying out mine. So I ordered one for her on Dec 21st and got an estimated Dec 26th delivery. It actually arrived at our local UPS center on Dec 23rd. Dec 26th rolls in and the UPS truck shows up in front of our house. After hearing the driver rummage around his truck for about 10 minutes, he looks at me and says he can't find it. I called UPS and they said it might be on another truck and that the drivers are out extended hours until 10PM so I waited. Nothing. Shortly thereafter, the status changed to "Rescheduled" for Dec 27th. Still nothing on the 27th. The driver made a delivery for another package and suggested that I call UPS again. I called again and they said the package has not been unloaded from the container and to wait. I then changed delivery to a UPS store because we would be out and about the rest of the week and the request was noted in the status. Nothing and no status update. Finally, on Dec 29th, I called T-Mobile and, after a three-way telecom with UPS, an investigation was initiated. The T-Mobile rep asked me to stay on the line after UPS hung up. The rep then arranged for a substitute phone that I could pick up at our local T-Mobile store while they're trying to sort out the missing package with UPS. The UPS status has been "Exception - verifying location of package/lost package" since but, at least, my wife is happily using her new iPhone X now.

Long story short, you might call T-Mobile if your status hasn't changed in two days. Kudos to T-Mobile customer service!
