He's about to be part of an NHL team acquisition so this makes sense since he probably needs to shed liabilities and build up capital for that.

Eventually, T-Mobile will, not if, eventually increase the prices at Mint Mobile so many subscribers will leave which defeats the purpose of using Mint Mobile, which I happen to use.
T-Mobile's plans for Single subscribers are expensive, similar to other cellular providers.
Expensive? T-Mobile has a single subscriber plan starting at $10/mo for 1GB data and 1,000 min talk/text. There's also a $15/mo plan with 3.5GB data and unlimited talk/text that's almost similar to Mint Mobile's $15/mo plan that gives you 4GB data and unlimited talk/text.

The other T-Mobile Connect plans are terrible when compared to Mint Mobile though. $25/mo gets you 6.5GB data while for $20/mo over at Mint you get 10GB data, and $35/mo at T-Mo gets you 12GB data while Mint gives you unlimited data for $30/mo

Well I was going to check out Mint after unlocking my iPhone and leaving T-Mobile but I guess i won't do that now. It seems like when T-Mobile bought Sprint their customer service has went to the toilet. Not to mention another data breach that happened right after the ink dried on the settlement for the last one.

I wonder if this means that Mint Mobile will start being compatible with iPhone. Last I checked, it was NOT compatible.
Where ever you saw that, it's wrong.

I'm using T-Mobile and Mint Mobile (dual SIM) on my iPhone right now and have been for over a year now. I gave them (Mint Mobile) a test drive back in 2018 or 2019 just to see what they were like and never had any iPhone compatibility issues even back then.

The only way your iPhone won't work with Mint Mobile is if it's carrier locked. Or you just joint right now to spread lies about Mint.

Blake Lively must be high maintenance. xoxo gossip girl. Ultimately, I think after Apple exhausted making every component in the iPhone, this is where they will go next and buy their own carrier or start their own MVNO in the US. The satellite emergency service is likely their earliest hint of that.

That $10/month for 1000 talk/text? Never saw that plan even having been with them for a couple of years.

Used to have Xfinity Mobile. The Per Gig plans changed and got worse and meant for light data users.
Used to be $12/month now $15/month and too easy to blow through 1Gb/month so $10/G after so better to switch up to $30/3 Gb plan than get 2 Gb.
The monthly plans were absurd and became even more expensive.
The 1 Unlimited plan now changed to 3 Unlimited plans with different amounts and tiers when it so much easier at 1 fixed rate and the Xfinity store rep then said that there was No data cap and streaming limits, which there are now.

Mint Mobile's per Gig plans are Better as you get More data than what XFinity Mobile now offers. The Unlimited plan appears good though if you're a power user, look elsewhere as mentioned by many reviews on many online boards. Mint Mobile is not meant for heavy data users.

Hopefully Tmobile will have to improve their pricing to match as part of the acquisition. Also of course he was always going to sell it off, it was an investment and he played a big part by bringing a lot of attention and growth to it.

So, what's the point when Metro-By T-Mobile Exists? (Even if MBT has the worse Service EVER.)
The point is...
Mint Mobile's "industry leading" marketing expertise will be incorporated into T-Mobile's portfolio to reach new customer segments and geographies, with Reynolds staying on in his creative role.
They wanted Deadpool as their spokesman. Let's be real. T-mobile's ads have sucked--ig not memorable--for a long time. For the life of me, I can only recall that ad where they had magenta streaking through a city.

I wonder if this is why Mint Mobile didn't increase the data allotment this year like they've been doing every 2 years since 2019 because they were planning to sell.

In 2019, the base $15/mo plan's data went from 2GB to 3GB. In 2021, it went from 3GB to current 4GB

The $20/mo plan went from 5GB to 8GB, and in 2021 it went from 8GB to 10GB

The $25/mo plan went from 10GB to 12GB, and it 2021 it went from 12GB to 15GB, and they added a new $30/mo unlimited plan.

T-Mobile to Ryan Reynolds: "Hey, if you stop making our plans look bad, we'll make you rich." 🤣

It's always been compatible with iPhones. All the way from the original SE out to the newest phones. The older the phone the less antennas you'll have though, so you won't get as fast speeds or in certain areas you may not get as good service.
