I would be so embarrassed if I tried to kill myself, failed, and then required to give a public press release. Sucks to be him.

I agree.
However, if he REALLY wanted to die then he would have not messed around with pills...a gun to the head is probably the best bet. I don't blame anyone that considers suicide though. If your that miserable then it is definitely the only true relief. The only people it sucks for are the ones left behind---they are the ones that have to deal with the sadness and suffering.

I wonder if I can find the audio of the 9-11 call. TO's publicist sounded very desperate and very worried. Almost as if TO actually did try to commit suicide. :-/

Wonder if we will ever know what really happened?

Over the years, I have seen some very graphic suicides by dedicated individuals. Really sad.

It seems in this case, it could simply be an allergic reaction or an attempt.

So when TO's publicist goes on camera and plays everything down, she's obviously lying. Something serious happened, and it's embarrassing to TO.

Who knows?

Reading the transcript one could interpret it a couple of ways. One thing for sure, many times when folks walk into an unknown situation such as seeing someone they care about in a bad situation, they can easily become emotional and distressed.

On an ironic note, if it wasn't T.O. we would not be hearing anything about the situation.

Side note, but related. You know I think paramedics really are angels of mercy.

I've never spoken with any medical team present from attending ER Physician to RNs in ICU who haven't said that EMTs are some of the most qualified in vital sign and threat diagnosis and competent in cutting to the crucial in order to save life, yet are some of the most under payed for what they do.

I hope that comes out, too. (Never mind that that's what my daughter does.) :)

Of course, TO is an attention whore, and the Cowboys are the biggest "entity" in the Dallas Metroplex.

I'm still going to believe the Dallas police in saying he was suicidal.
