Tabbed browsing all the way! I guess I can understand how people would prefer to have multiple windows and use exposé to find their stuff...

But it's still the lesser way :p

I've been making a concerted effort to switch to tabs in order to de-clutter my workspace. But I still find myself often using a separate window, as I frequently find myself needing to keep something visible in a background window while I work in the foreground window.

transparent browsing...

now that would be a fun idea. where somehow you can make some of the windows semi transparent while you have a solid one in front of you. this would work for if i was watching a video on youtube and wanted to comment on the video on this forum for instance while it was still playing, instead of while at tabbed, just stay stuck at it, and can only work on one window seen at a time. this is a major hinderance for me, as sometimes, i need to see multiple windows instead of the single tabbed version.

Well, it's a possibility, but it would get real annoying...

I'm a tabbed browser all the way. On my powerbook running Safari, I use cmd+} and cmd+{ to go right and left on the tabs. I think it would be cool to have a Tab-Exposé so I could see all of my tabs when it starts to get cluttered with too many tabs. That's about the only improvement I can think of.

I don't think I could ever go back to surfing without tabs. Way too complicated. With tabs I just open all the things I want to read in tabs and then close them as I read them.
You can also open tabs that at that moment you don't want to read yet because you're aren't finished with the main page yet.
Tabbed browsing basically fits my browsing/reading style but different people different customs I guess.
