Coverflow won't help with the current remote. They need to introduce a scroll wheel remote.
Give Apple Feedback, a minor update could fix this. Anything over 25 movies, either streamed or synced will be cumbersome and needs to be broken down by genre and available to search in poster grid view.
So where do I go to give feedback?

A wifi capable remote would be sick ... maybe with a LCD screen ... or hell allow the iphone to be used as a remote.
My Movies, My TV Shows and My Music should all be moved to the top of the list menu.
Its a pain that you have to scroll down past everything just to get to your own content.
Thank god for my USA iTnus Account the menus look bare and empty when the UK Store is selected.
I don't know if I like the interface or not... Only time will tell if it grows on me.

poster view doesn't work ( slow and eyestrain). Has anyone found a setting to get a simple list?![]()
1400 movies?! Assuming each is 1.5 hours (the minimum, essentially, since many go longer), that's about 90 days of straight, non-stop movie viewing. Even if you only sleep for 6 hours a day (120 days non-stop w/ sleep), that's 4 months straight of movies.
You watch everything, repeatedly? Do you have a job? Maybe you need oneMost people could probably watch a movie per night assuming a normal job and sleep schedule, and they have some semblance of a life. Which would mean you'd be set for over 3.5 years.
More importantly, assuming you spent $9.99 per movie (the cheap ones canceling out the expensive ones), that's about $14k on movies.
I don't think the problem is withTV

I've only seen about half, if not less. I've converted my entire DVD collection, as well as my uncle's, sister's, dad's and many of my friends. I use MacTheRipper at about 20 minutes per, then after I have a large amount, I use Handbrake. It's taken me over a year to get my collection to this point. Oh and yes I do have a job, own a consulting company, which enables me to have others assist in the conversion as well as giving me ample time to keep the process going. I will be slowing down, I'm almost out of movies to convert.
my thumb's already tired!
