Who says I don't? :D
Even though I don't, I feel the need to complain and correct false statements.

I think that is one of the funniest websites I've ever seen! And, about Macs, he really does have a point.

The Mac Fix it bit is very well observed.

He has always been observant.

I think Maddox's site is aimed at people like iParis --- people who blindly believe something, and are not clued in enough to know why they feel the way they do. Maddox just tells you what most people are probably thinking anyway.

One of his first articles, and when I first chimed in, was his opinion of crappy kids drawings. I think it's in the archive now. Lets face it.....what he said was true. Those drawings are crap. If I drew those crappy drawings, you'd probably chuckle at my lack of skills and pee on it. If a 4 year old kid draws the same thing, you'd start oooohing and awwwwing before your girlfriend rests her head on your shoulder, and you start touching each other.

You should email him

Funniest thing I've read all day. :D iParis should definitely send him an email to express his opinion as eloquently and clearly as he has in this thread.

When did you give an honest attempt to correct any false statements?

You seem to hate the fact that he bashed the iPhone, but what he actually said about having a physical keyboard and such isn't wrong. Many people at MR say it all the time, and nobody gets jumped for it. He just said it in a crasser way.

"No escape from Reality...”
agree

there are fanbois on every product, be it game systems, outdoor gear, computers, it goes on forever

Yes, it's okay to be passionate about something you like/love. I know some people, unfortunately, that are more passionate about hating things/people than liking/loving their their own...

meh... there's a million of em... take a look at this PC hating site.

I can't believe you'd even post this  Maddox's entire point is to make updates to his personal website that are absurd rants based on things people say to him, and that he sees in day-to-day life. He doesn't care about half of the issues, he does it simply to flame. It's common knowledge, and most of his stuff is satirical anyways. On top of that, this has been covered many, many times.

I really don't care about his "opinion" on how he view a mac computer I only cares about mine. He's just some maniac who has too much time on his hands that has nothing to do but flame at random stuff for no reason. Apparently he has no sense of taste in many things...Someone I wouldn't want to be friends with..Lol

Everyone is allowed to have their own opinion. Personally I think it's dumb to get angry about the whole mac vs. pc argument. Why does it even have to be an argument? Obviously if Mr. X bought a Mac he thinks OS X is better so what's the point? There's no right or wrong answer and the only thing you can debate is a matter of opinion which means it's completely subjective anyway.

Really?

Maddox's website is so old, and so popular, and yet it doesn't sound like any of you have ever seen it before.

His site was always pretty funny, and what he said about the iPhone was true.

Nope, I had not seen it. I have a life! o_0
Saw it thanks, but I am not impressed.

I have to agree. He is making fun of things. It is a joke. I repeat, a joke. The more you hate it, the more he loves it. If you don't like his particular style of humor, don't go there.

I loved the iPhone article, my god it was hilarious.

Can't do fundamental tasks like copy & paste text:

(iPhone) Yes.

(Nokia E70) No. Double negative, bitches!

Amazing stuff.

That they are, but I'm also ENtitled to my opinion against them.

I didn't view it just because; one of my friends showed it to me.
You viewed it, regardless of how you got there, you viewed it. It's clear in your postings here. And I fixed your post for you.
That's an opinion.

How does that effect anything I've said?
Nothing being written here will affect on anything you say because what you are saying is purely your opinion about a site based on someone else's opinion.
Worthless Trash.

Ahhh another short response with zero context. ;) Maddox is actually quite entertaining and spot on in many cases. His delivery leaves something to be desired, but it's all quite humorous.

There are probably more sites like this if you look and with any luck, there will be more. I'm really not at all concerned about someone bashing a product that I use. They don't owe me anything and likewise, I owe them nothing. I have one person to report to about what I buy and that is me.

Getting worked up about a site on the internet is pointless.

Maddox is a legend.

And everything he said was true in those articles:
1. Mac fanboys are retards.
2. The iPhone has no MMS, video recording, or copy and paste.

He was not insulting the Mac at all, he was insulting the users.
