Image stabilisation turned off on your lens?

Are you shooting raw? And are you sharpening afterwards in a desktop software package?
I’m using a kit lens without image stabilization. Shooting raw. I have not tried sharpening them. I’ll give that a try.

Ah there you go.... Raw images, while offering most flexibility for tweaking after the fact, are a bit underwhelming straight out of camera. They always need pepped up colourwise and sharpened.

Try using contrast and structure/clarity before sharpening as sharpening as a tuned slider sometimes is a tad harsh.

Well, not the best resolved, but Im satisfied with the color rendition and exposure... for a handheld shot with a small sensor camera that is!
