If you have a bag is a sleeve that necessary? Likewise, is a case, a sleeve, and a bag all necessary? I'd say case + bag or case + sleeve at most.

I looked at your pics and thought to myself that you may be the first man to really appreciate the layers of clothing a lady wears. The iPad is the body, your Vue is a bra, the sleeve is a pair of panties, and the bag is the top and bottom.

Jesus, I'm tired just looking at that!

HAHA...Jessica you made me smile. Yes I most certainly understand layering clothing. There are times that I find the Vue case to be a bit much but I am also paranoid of hurting my iPad so I figure the extra little padding can't hurt. :) It also makes it a really nice snug fit inside of the bag. :) Plus it is all about how you accessorize isn't it? :)

I think it's good to be cautious with the iPad. I have the Apple case and InCase Netbook sleeve because extra padding will not hurt the iPad!!! The Targus bag looks nice but I think I'll just carry my iPad in my large purse or tote bag. I do have a Timbuk2 Quickie xs sleeve on order since I wanted a sleeve with handles.

I bought the same bag at Office Max on April 4th to accommodate my iPad in the Apple case, my Bible, Sunday School book as well as the iPhone and a couple of pens, etc.! One modification I did was to cut the plastic "D-Rings" that the strap attaches to so that I could remove the strap and carry the bag just by the handle. I use a couple of small black carabiners to attach the strap when needed. It works out perfectly for my needs.

all that **** seems like it would entirely negate the convenience and portability of the ipad. thats like eating a bag of a bag of individually wrapped starbursts.

i would hate my life.

ha ha ha. . .a MBP 13 inch would be simpler, more efficient, and probably lighter/cheaper. It would certainly be quick to get out and start using.

I recently picked up a Targus CityGear Netbook bag myself... I have the Apple iPad case, and it fits in there perfectly. :)
