Just started using it.
A killer for me is that there is no badge on the app icon so I have no idea how many things I have to do without opening the app.

The application badge shows the number of task due 'today'. And of course, as you mention, to be in the today's list the task have at least to have a due date defined.

Secondly, when I do open the app, it opens to 'today' which has nothing in it (almost all my to do's are not scheduled but outstanding) and I have to go to categories to see what there is.

For most people using a GTD like application, what does matter is to have at first glance the number of action to be done for the day. That's why the Today list is shown by default.

DiGk: if you could add a badge and allow (?in settings) for the opening page to be 'categories' that would help a lot

I'll keep in mind to include those into the next release.

A setting parameter to define which panel is default one if users want to bypass the actual parameter and the application badge to show the today task or the overall task.

May I make a couple of suggestions:
...setting the badge to only items due today means, presumably, that the badge is re-set daily. So even if the items are not completed the badge goes to empty?
...i tried to go back to my entries and set the for today so that the badge would appear but there is no way I can see to enter a date due when one hasn't be set to begin with. If a priority changes or you want to change a due date there should be a way to do that

Regarding the badge the mechanisme is as followed :

- Count the number of task on the today list. This today list show all the task due on the current day and also all overdued task.

- If you set a task for tomorrow and you have already 2 tasks due on today. Today the basge will show 2 tasks and tomorrow the badge will be updated to 3 taking into account that the task due on tomorrow is now due on today. This is done through the push mechanisme.

To modify the due date or the task properties.

- go to the task detail panel by touching a task from either the Today list, tomorrow list or Category list (after you choose the category)
- touch the top right button called "Edit"
- touch the row named "Due date" to access the due date panel
- swith the due date switcher to 1
- select your due date
- touch the save button

Same for all the other task properties

Check the following address and have a look to the video to see how to modify the task type. Same apply for the other properties.

ok , that helps!
i'll see how it deals with the overdue task tomorrow.
thanks

I heard your what you told me regarding the start up view. So i updated the next version to include the following :

+ Enhancement : add a setting to define the view at start up.
+ Enhancement : modify the minute interval for the notification parameter in the setting panel
+ Enhancement : add donate zone in the user setting

+ Bug fix : Tomorrow badge count at start up
+ Bug Fix : Sorting task by dueDate
+ Bug Fix : Task Label while creating or editing a task

This is actually on Apple review process, so it could take up to 10 days to be validated and available on App Store.
