Whats the foot tattoo like, is it especially painful. I'm thinking about getting my feet down with bands that go all the way around, i.e. underneath but think it will be a bit too much.

Anyway I have my wrists done with an X on the top and UKHC palm side. These were done 6 years ago now which seems like hell of a long time but they still mean a hell of a lot to me and am very glad that I had them done.

I really want to get more done.

Mine

Here are mine! They're on the inside of my feet in case you're trying to figure the images out :p

Interested in this thread as I've been thinking about getting a tattoo myself..

I would like one on the shoulder area but, from what I've found out, this is a prime area for developing a keloid, so would anyone recommend getting a tattoo if they're prone to developing these things? Or to play it safe and not damage the skin in anyway?

Just want to make an informed decision.

Thanks!

I've always thought a keloid developed with piercings... never heard of them related to tattoos. What I would do is find an artist that has a portfolio I like and talk to them about it.

a keloid is just a type of scar - it's normally more prone to cartilaginous areas in white people, but black people are most likely to keloid. not to be confused with hypertrophic scars, which go away automagically with a course of tea-tree oil (I had one on a tragus piercing)

unfortunately, it's 1 of those things - you'll either keloid or you won't - but you won't know until it's too late. if you've never had a keloid before, but you've had a scar, chances are higher that you'll be ok

Well, these are both photos from right after they got done, so not the best quality. They are, in fact, very shiny and raw. Indulge me, though.

Here's mine, it's on my left upper forearm, right by the inside of my elbow. Planning on getting another over Christmas break too. That one will be on my right bicep, extending from my inner elbow up to my shoulder area.:D

I see. The first letter in the first word reading from the right is actually a Bet and not a Kaf. So, this now reads Son of God. However, it is not a proper Bet, hence the confusion. I have attached a Hebrew Alphabet, note the difference between a Bet and a Kaf. :)

Not quite
