I use teamviewer almost a decade. Remote connection & desktop with no problems!
It was the program which succeed to connect, when all others failed.
But no more in my case!
El capitan 10.11.2 and teamviewer 11.
Impossible to connect anywhere.
I try to connect from mac, to several pcs.
The target computer-pc seems to receive the 'signal' from mac, as I observed in the pc side by side with my mac, but it does not connect. Connection failure.

Am I the only one with this awful problem?
Is this an incompatibility?
Any solution?
i had the ame problem and i olved it by using an erlier version of eamviewer. versio 10 actually

Hi guys, I forgot to update this where I got to. I had Windows 10 wanting to perform a "forced update". Because of this, Windows held the user interface locked, in a full screen user permission prompt box until it was clicked. Once that box was clicked, the program proceeded.

It is a free application, so can you please zip and upload somewhere this 10 version to download and try it,
if it will fix my problems too?

I think older version prevents newer ones to connect to the one with the older version.
But not vice versa, I think with older version you can connect to a newer one.

[doublepost=1484616041][/doublepost]I actually have had this issue with Teamviewer 10 on ElCapitan. Have had it for about 4 months now. I believe it is a wake on lan issue when the computer sits and goes into a hibernate mode. Still working out the settings.

I used latest version, and for the first time after 1 year with problem,
it works!
I hope to remain functioning from now on.

I just tried upgrading the software, and still the problem persists. I am trying to connect to a Windows 8 laptop from Mac El Capitan which has the latest version of TV. The PC has a recent version, but not the latest. It used to connect without problems.
I've seen this error before and usually in the past I just wait a while and it eventually connects. But this has been for several days and it's still not connecting - even after this update just now.
[doublepost=1482363890][/doublepost]Just a minor update to this...

I've checked this out on 2 computers now. On the Mac, I see the device and get the error. On a different computer (Windows) the computer I want to connect to is appearing as offline.

So there is clearly something weird going on. So, either it's online, or it's offline.
Given the connection error window, I'm guessing there is a problem with the connection and/or it's current offline. But who knows.

my 2 cents.

don't if this is late but remote sfw is very finicky re; 'sleeping' and 'hibernating'

try to NOT allow the computer u are trying to log into to 'sleep' or set to 'sleepl after a long time - this is BOT a great solution, especially for unattended access
i find this is especially true of macs
