It’s on YouTube comments. I don’t use Telegram and was just making the point that lots of scammers do
And? Scammers use every platform, and youtube comments aren't an authoritative source on Telegram - not to mention you don't use Telegram. I use Telegram, have for years and have never had the issue that you reported. As far as lots of scammers use Telegram, lots of scammers use youtube, whatsapp, signal, various email providers, etc. The fact that scammers use youtube comments doesn't have anything at all to do with Telegram. If a platform is popular, its going to have fake accounts. The more popular something is, the more fake accounts it has. (◔_◔)

Unfortunately, Telegram can‘t be trusted anymore as reported by Wired.

True.

The Wagner Mercenary groups and other Orcs use it a lot.

At least this built in translator will help them understand the grunts and squeals these animals make.

I have yet to see a YouTube video by a major content creator that doesn’t have a scam like this in the comments. It has become such a problem that Davie504 recently made a video about it.
That’s most certainly not the same thing as it being the ‘only thing’ it’s used for.

I've not understood why Telegram became so popular, when it has Russian roots. Reading here I guess I see why: features. But I value privacy more than that. iMessages seems more secure than Telegram and anyone who's life or livelihood may be at stake should be using Signal... and a late model iPhone.
If you could understand everything... It would still not make you happy :D
But seriously now. I did not want it to ventilate it here but information i faced was that Signal roots leads to C!A. Take it as it is. You are not 100% safe anywhere.
Telegram becomes more then messanger. It partly mimics social media and is prone to censorship you can face on Fakebook or previously on Twitter as well.

Bro relax :)
It is true that most comments from scammers you Youtube points to Telegram contacts. Havent seen other. Bad is that channel authors do little about it even noticed.
Of course scammers are on all platforms. And once it grows in popularity, they multiply.

Auto translate is not working as it should. Sometimes the bar shows up to auto-translate; sometimes, it doesn't. In both instances, I want the text to auto-translate. Not sure why they let an algo dictate when the bar should show up. Please let me know if anybody has found a way to make this work consistently. They give no steps or info on how the bar is triggered to start auto-translate.
