Still can't believe how good the battery life is on my M1 MacBook Pro, third day of usage, smashing safari, benchmarks, watching videos, 4K videos, just hit 50%

My 2016 13" pro would of needed to be charged twice by now.

Apple silicone is a breath of fresh air, absolute game changer.

How's everyone else finding battery life? ?❤️?
Mine has been genuinely surprising. What I will say is that I have circa 150,000 photos in iCloud Photos, so the Photo sync process was running in the background for a couple of days using significant energy. But still, on the first couple of days I'd be sitting at 50-60% battery where normally I'd have to charge it.

Since Photos finished synching, its almost unbelievable how long the battery lasts. I was sitting doing 5 hours of work last night and the battery barely moved.

Not wrong, this machine is a battery king, last full charge was on Saturday, tomorrow morning will be a week since I've put my MacBook Pro on charge, still have 44% battery left, approaching 7 hours usage, using safari, watching 4K videos, by now I would of charged my intel MacBook Pro 4-5 times already.
