Terrible Quality Control - MacBook Pro 14”

I haven’t had any issues with the 14” specifically. Even got it from the Refurb store and it was pristine—and I’m very OCD so I notice the slightest imperfection.

Other times I have not been so lucky with the refurb store—my 2020 iMac for example had some slight scuffing on the back of the display. But I’ve not had any issues when buying new.

Are you talking about microscratches on the screen? Did you inspect with a flashlight? They usually look like dust spots. What model did you get? Custom? or standard config?

It was on the back housing of the computer, sorry. I had no issues that I could tell with the screen. And believe me, I looked with a flashlight to be sure!
