But not for other but very much so.
Once you've changed over the chip. Is it difficult to flash if the only other video card you have is a proper Mac GTX 285? I see that it will flash all nvidia cards in the machine, but if it's a legit Mac GTX 285 will it cause issues with that one?
It could be impossible to flash card with blank EEPROM chip in MP. I've tried it with 7800GT and GTX after soldering new chip. My MP refused to boot, no matter what EFI card was installed with this with new chip. All I get was "looped" chime and self restart.

Hmmm.. Ok, I'll give the PC method a crack. I'll have to see if I've got an old PC still tucked away somewhere
At the moment it goes no where. I can't source the 6 pin power cables for a PC.

1. should i use a 1gb Version of the card or could it be the 2gb Version
for example is this card ok ? I think the 1GB Version is cheaper.
