Exactly right. Still, did you watch the event? Did you see the stupid crowd cheering and applauding
every little silly announcement? It looked like straight out of George Orwell's world.
I believe those people working at Apple are very afraid of finding any bad thing about their great products.

I believe you’ve been taken in by a conspiracy theory.
Stuff gets by testers. It always has and it always will. They’re not finding problems and not reporting them out of fear.

The Xs needs 12.1 which is in beta and has bugs.

Anything prior were done with production prototypes AND iOS beta

Every rollout of MacOS or iOS needs 5-6 months. And couple that with new hardware, I think itll come together by March.

I do wonder what would happen if someone refused the kool-aide, booed, but that isnt happening. Intel and Samsung forums are not marketing events?

A lot of testing is driven by use of tools, also can need to be updated, flawed, needing to be taught or learn.

New phone and you have first large public test in real world is all.

I am sure issues are found and brought to the table. It's a matter of deciding which need to be addressed on the GM and what is pushed to 12.0.1 or 12.1, depending on severity of the problem. Bugs are unavoidable with new products, you just need to prioritize what is most important. Apple, as always, will resolve any issues that have crept up for some people. In the end though, it's likely a very small percentage of phones, with much of the noise coming from people who don't have the phone and just enjoy piling on Apple. It's a regular occurrence.
