I haven't seen it mentioned yet but, for me, the messed up notification is always a duplicate of a notification found in the "Earlier Today" section, below:

Another exciting aspect is that occasionally when I swipe and Open, for example, a notification about an email that doesn't fit in the box, what opens is the Reminders app.
In other words, perhaps the box is being sized to display a REMINDER, and that's why the partial-preview of an email doesn't fit in the box. Perhaps the cause is a mismatch between the content inside the box and the box itself (including where swiping on the box will take you).

I'm getting this on the 6s+ as well. Very strange that this hasn't been fixed... as I've noticed it being persistent throughout the past few ios updates. Maybe they're becoming complacent...

I believe it has to do with reminder notifications. Next time it happens swipe up to the "earlier today" notifications a few swipes and then back down and you will see the reminder notification. Further more, if you try to open the cut off notification from the lock screen it will open up reminders. At least for me.

I was using Apple Maps and I randomly have issues with text not fitting properly as seen in this screen shot.

This is sloppy work as a previous posted mentioned. This happens daily for me from notifications on the lock screen. Then if I swipe to remove notifications below others it gets even worse. See image below. It started when I went to ios 11. It’s not just a small percentage of people this happens to. I am on 6s plus. No changes to settings text or anything like that. Even if so, good coding would accommodate for any option on the phone.

It’s not the end of the world but since it’s the first thing you always see when you grab your phone, it stands out.

I get the same thing all of the time.... occurring randomly, yet frequently & always on the lock screen. I have an iPhone 8+.
Thought they’d have fixed this by now. He was right: looks sloppy (especially for what we pay for & expect BECAUSE of what they charge) ... and is annoying.

Since the 11.3 update, I haven’t noticed one misaligned notification. Hopefully this is the end of this ridiculous problem. Saw it quite frequently on the last update prior to 11.3 (11.2.6 I think).
