Mr. Kak-en-Betaal,

I understand your trouble. I feel that it is a genuine problem. It is indeed very easy to do that in a nokia. I spent hours on the internet & called up apple tech support.. but no answers to this simple question. I need to send the sms to 100 ppl and there is no point saving them as contacts coz next time i will have to sms another set of ppl.

I know that iphone uses comma (,) as a delimiter. So, when u type "8888888,9999999" in the To field it does recognize 8888888 and 9999999 as two separate numbers. But, when you copy and paste it only recognizes them as 1 number.

Anyone listening???
Pls help.
[doublepost=1487026351][/doublepost]I know, old thread. But after quite some online search, I ended up here, trying to solve my problem of pasting a longer list of mobile numbers into iMessage on a Mac. I did come up with an easy way, thanks to mihirwani's advice (#17) how iMessage uses comma (,) as a delimiter. So hopefully it may help future surfers to find a solution.

My lists typically are not stored with a comma (,) attached (they are in Excel or Outlook). I therefore copy my list of mobile phone numbers (including any text that might be associated with the list), into Extractemailaddress.com. I select comma (,) as 'Format / custom separator' and I deselect 'enter at the end of the line'. After Extraction, I can copy the list of mobile numbers directly into iMessage on my Mac. Now iMessage accepts the format for each individual mobile number.

Thanks for quoting extractemailaddress.com - I have used your advice and it avoided me hours of daunting work to format everything manually. Thank you!
