Hover is far from a "game changer." Its a feature that might be useful to artists, but outside of that, scrolling the web with your pencil almost touching the screen doesn't nothing for me. Its a nice little feature and it wasn't highlighted much by Apple because they know its only going to be useful to a select group of people.

Lol I just watched that review. Not only is this not a game changer, but it looks tedious and not remotely useful using the pencil to navigate the UI.

well what do you do if there's a shi**y desktop website that has a dropdown menu when you hover the cursor above the button? Or YouTube which has hover cursor to preview video functionality? Or sidecar where the whole Mac OS is designed with the ability to move cursor without clicking in mind?
It doesn't change the game but it's certainly a big feature, bigger than stage manager or lidar sensor or any other new feature since 2018.

If you’re someone with a use case for the pencil, it’s a game changer. If all you do is scroll the web, then why are you wasting money on a Pro device? The “select group of people” you’re referring to are literally the target market for a Pro device.

Uh what? He was saying its a game changer specifically because it can do things like browse the web and hover over tabs and thumbnails. Hover is useful for artists who draw but isn't a game changer in any other way for the iPad which is what he was trying to say it was.
