Other than TeamViewer 13, which is too expensive imo, does anyone know of an app that allows remote viewing an iOS device from a Mac?

I need something relatively simple to help troubleshoot a family member's iPad remotely.

Zoom supports screensharing - you could have them start a meeting and have them screenshare the screen - free.

Was about to ask this question and saw this thread. Never heard of jump desktop before reading....

So I want basic use from my iPad really I suppose rather than from my iMac.

Want it for a "nice to have" rather then a necessity, not for work or anything. Would be nice to be able to help my elderly Dad who has a Windows laptop as well remotely.

So which app for my use? Do you just need to pay for the iPad app and then install free apps on your computer's, Mac's and windows ones?

Thanks

Yes - so JumpDesktop actually just launched a collaboration feature that would be perfect for this -

Ah ok thanks, so how would the "ask" feature work? I'm thinking from a PC to me on my iPad? Would still need something to initiate the "ask" ?

I take it that they program does all the clever stuff for you on firewalls, routing etc etc? Sorry not sure how this stuff works
