I am sure I cannot use Parallel's, which is too bad because I really like Parallels. Is there a way or is the M2 chip a deal killer? Thanks much, Dqave

You can run the ARM version of Ubuntu under Parallels no problem. I’m doing it right now on my M3 Max. Parallels makes it easy to install.
