What's worse than this failure of a post is that you can't delete certain apps from the iOS home screen. By the way, a bunch of those in your list have 0.00 bytes, what's the point of showing them?

Your argument is invalid. 24 apps open, btw.

Sure, the list is long for "all".. but who cares. I checked "all" and it didn't show Facebook or similar disabled apps using any recourses... they were using 0.00 bytes. System resources aren't bloat; apps that the user doesn't want are bloat. And if they aren't using any resources, and you can hide them, what is the point of complaining about it, unless you have an agenda? The phone is running normally. My list shows app related tasks (where app related bloat would normally show up) that are running. You are implying that the phone is bloated and inefficient. Disable the apps you don't want and check the running processes, and you'll see it is very efficient.

Just checked my Running Applications

I have a grand total of 11 apps running in background.

Thank god for T-Mobile Note 5, and my debloated ROM, plus Greenify and the great app ' Disabler Application [ ROOT ] '

Samsung phones need to be rooted to kill all the boat and crapware.

Am I the only one who disabled apps I didn't want from the get go and am not experiencing problems? Btw is this bloat OP is complaining about causing OP to run out of RAM or experience any slowdowns? I don't get it.

I think he's talking about internal space.

Not sure what is has to do any thing but good effort I guess. I am not an ios user

Not only is the bloat strong but the bumhurt as well it appears. Not sure what the big deal with calling a spade a spade and admitting the bloat is real

Not saying the bloat isn't real... I guess I'm just addressing the "can you top this?" part. I don't see how 44 screenshots of roughly half 0.00B processes and a bunch of unrelated system services in the KB range somehow proves anything... it would be cause for concern if the apps couldn't be easily disabled in less time than it takes to make this thread, or caused a noticeable performance decrease.

here is the ram used on stock android lmy48m. notice how settings uses a lot less ram than Samsung and of course I have a lot less third party apps (just Fleksy using ram) than OP.

It's no secret that pure Android uses less RAM out the box vs Samsung and other manufacturers. But as long as any device runs good, I don't care. My S6 Edge is fast and snappy, with no lag and rarely any app refreshes. I imagine the S6 Edge + and Note 5 are even better.

Also, what many consider bloat are things that I and others actually use. I use the Galaxy App store, One Drive, Instagram, Amazon app, and some others. So some of what people call bloat is actually subjective.

You can't uninstall these things, total bloatware. Worse than preinstalled applications that come on a lot of pc's. At least you can remove that junk

I would like to see all apps have the built in option to be totally uninstalled and removed for good if the user wants. Not core system apps of course, but all the carrier, and manufacturer bloat, and Google apps, should have the full removal option.

Not just freeze or disable, but complete uninstall.

The test are bloat but please don't tell us you don't use Facebook, instantgram, and amazon!

90% of all the things in your screen shots are system process files that are hidding in ios

- Facebook app ? Do people honestly use that malware crap app ?

- Instagram ? Sorry I'm not a teenager. Never once used or installed that app. Unless it's for chicks, I know a lot of older divorced women that do use it for quickies. Seriously. Not that I've ever been known to see that.

- Amazon app ? No thanks, I'll just use my gaming rig desktop PC if I need to buy something online.

Then Google apps is bloatware on a Nexus by your logic. Cause you can't uninstall most of them. Can't even uninstall Google Earth, only disable it. And I never use Google Earth.

I use Facebook online site, NEVER the app, and only on my Linux machine, due to the major malware that website attract. FB is only good to see what family and fiends are up to.

LOL go to XDA man, you'll see how bad Facebook is, and should be avoided like the plague.

Follow who on Instagram ? Why would I want to do that ? I live in the real world.

Twitter ? LOL no thanks.

It wasn't an "ahaha gotcha" response.

It's was more like a "what's your point" response.

From iOS, Android, and manufacturer's .......... How can you blame Google for implementing it's Google apps into Android, or Samsung into implementing it's apps, or Apple? If the device runs well, then bloat really doesn't matter. It's more of a pet peeve than performance hindrance.

Carrier bloat is the exception and what I have a problem with, it acts more like malware IMO, damn near always active and taking up more resources normal.
