Online strap orders

Does anyone have any idea how fast these are being turned around? What I mean is, I know a lot say 'June' but it's the same with watches, they say 'June' but people are saying they are being dispatched with a two day turnaround, is it the same with the straps?

I ordered 2 sport bands (white and pink) and a Milanese band at xx:08 on 4/10. They are all still processing.

I haven't seen anyone with extra bands being shipped yet? Hopefully once they are caught up on the watch deliveries we will see some progress.

I got the Black Classic Buckle with my 42mm SS and waiting on a sport band so I can wear my watch at the gym. I originally ordered myself and the wife, white and pink respectively and since have added black as well as blue for each of us in the hopes that one of those would ship sooner than later.

Damn go figure the BANDS are in short supply.

Don't know about ones being shipped but I don't know my local Apple Store has not gotten one band in stock as of yet. Could the manufacturing of the bands be part of the hold up on the watches?

I really don't think anyone has gotten one yet. My blue leather loop shows May as the delivery time and my black sports band is between the 29th to the 11th for reception.

Kind of sucks, i was thinking of changing the black band to white and also picking up a black classic buckle but that would just push things back even more.

Probably for the best really. You have to expect there will be new bands with the next watch and possibly sooner then that, not to mention some of the 3rd party stuff might be worth getting.

I wonder which I will get first? The sport bands I ordered on the 10th that have the generic "May" delivery date or the sport blue I ordered more recently which specifies 2-4 weeks meaning potentially as far out as May 28?

And ya, I had the wife check the Apple store and they have gotten nothing watch related.

I asked my local Apple Store if they would be carrying bands locally, and he said probably not until June. They said that with the shortages plus all the colors and sizes, they would have to make a lot of shelf room for them and that the store didn't think it was the most efficient use of shelf space. Interesting thought, but I'm sure they will eventually carry some of the common bands in store.

I believe this is just the extra band piece rather than the stand alone band. As far as I understand none of the extra stand alone bands have even shipped for any country.

I have my watch, and decided to order a Milanese to go with it.

Ordered last Saturday, ETA "June".

I'm not expecting to see it anytime soon.

My SS Link and Leather Loop bands are schedule to deliver 4/29-5/12. I think if they're going to arrive on 4/29 I should get a status update today, but I'm thinking that's somewhat unlikely given the dates on SS Link watches

I believe all extra bands were purposely held back a few days as not to flood the carriers with parcels to deliver.

UPS and FedEx combined deliver north of 25mm parcels per day. Combine that with USPS in the States and I don't see how delivering capacity could possibly have come into play.

The most likely scenario is that there just isn't enough stock. If there was enough stock, they would have extra bands for sale at Apple retail stores.

Extra Band Orders - Any Movement?

Like many, I ordered an extra pair of bands - a black sports band and black leather loop (42mm). Order status still processing, but the earliest estimate date (4/29) is two days away. So there's a chance for this week.

Anyone move from processing to preparing yet?
