Hopefully it still has 1080p screen, has no hardware buttons and camera is good.

It should definitely be running Snapgradon 805, because if it still runs 800, then it'll be running an older technology, 800 is last year's SoC.

4GB RAM would be nice(3GB is weird) but I guess that won't come till 64-bit CPUs.

The "in screen" finger print recognition/scanner looks interesting as a rumour. I would be interested to see how well it is implemented, how the data is secured and how responsive it is. Logically, if such a feature does exist it would be one of the first features to be tested head to head against the touch-id by bloggers and reviewers alike. I don't care much for the 2k screen especially when i really do not see much of a advantage of a note3 screen to my 5s screen given the specs..I would like better color representation than the note 3 as thats an area where samsung could improve. The rest is just an UPGRADE BUMP that samsung usually does to its devices. Looking forward to the launch and initial reviews. Won't be buying any new phone until i see the iPhone 6 (primarily because i aint due for another year :) ) but the flagship samsung is always something one has to take seriously.

I'd like to see a better camera and build quality. Other than those things, I think the S4 is pretty solid. A google play edition at launch would be nice too.

If Samsung wants to stir the pot, it would be nice to have a mobile payment solution built in to the phone that functions on day 1 without any mods or hacks. Ruffle some feathers over at Apple and get some competition rolling in that department already.

Not really, the S800 is still current, and the 805 may not be ready until the summer. The S4 had the 600, so it would still be an improvement. Maybe a smaller Note 3.

Well benchmarks that have leaked have found it (snapdragon version) has around same score as the Note 3. Bare in mind it is pushing more pixels however.

Samsung Galaxy S5?

It's rumored that Samsung Galaxy S5 will be released in the near future. How do you think about it? Do you think it will threaten iPhone :D

Latest rumor suggests on screen buttons. Would make sense considering QHD resolution and 5.25 size, plus fingerprint scanner included in the screen.

Hope it's true. Hate the hardware home button.

Actually the latest report suggests that the finger print scanner won't be available (for the screen) until the second half of the year. Perhaps they wish to announce one varient in Feb. and another more expensive varient along with the note 4 to take care of the holidays..We'll soon find out..

Scanning fingerprints on the entire screen, which was much talked about recently, will be available in the latter half of this year as there are still technological hurdles to overcome,” he added, hinting that the production yield for the full-screen fingerprint scanner is still far from satisfactory.

I just saw this leak as well, on Phandroid. I am concerned about the conflicting leaks on the screen resolution. If the specs on the box are accurate I'm interested. Not that I need to switch phones since I just got the Note 3 in November and love it. But who says I can't have two phones?

As long as I hide one from my girlfriend, I'm assuming I could get away with it.

Looks awesome. Like the above poster, I, too, have the Note 3 and love it; no intention of changing. It's still nice to see new phones.

I think fake...

Despite conflicting reports from the leaked benchmarks which say it has a 16mp camera and 2gb ram, the one thing that surely proves it's a fake is that the box info is wrong for video recording. As it's a snapdragon 800 I assume like the Note 3 it will be able to shoot video in 4K. So why does that box only say 1080p. ...

Surely touchwiz will be a new part of the feature. If it is that means it will on the note 4..wonder if it's worth leaving nova for it.

Hopefully they listened to what everyone was saying and optimized TW. But I am excited to see what they do with the S5. Two more weeks…...

Yes it will release soon. And yes it will threaten Apple. Samsung already captured maximum share of smart phones market. These kind of product lines will surely threaten apple and reduce it is remaining market share

That made no sense whatsoever...

after going from ths S4 to the nexus 5. I don't think I can have a phone with any companies software on it (touchwiz). I think I'll be buying 'google play' edition phones or nexus phones from now on.

5.25" screen? Too big for my tastes. Even the 5" screen on the S4 is pushing what's comfortable for me, and I have big hands. I would prefer something around the 4.7" range like the Nexus 4.

I am more excited for the Moto X2 later this year. The first gen is such a fantastic phone and proves that less is more when it comes to software.

It may possiblly be using onscreen buttons which would make the screen about the same size as the s4. Either way I am not really that excited for this phone since samsung seems to have a knack for the ruining the phone with their software.

Yeah but I would hate if again it gets old hardware instead of top end.

And I don't think Motorola will include a good camera in the X2.

The soc in the Moto X is not necessarily old. It has krait 300 cores just like the snapdragon 600 and also has ddr3 ram. The nexus 4 from the year before used ddr2 and krait 200 cores.
