Picked up my first non-Apple branded Apple Watch band a few days ago, Black Speidel Twist-O-Flex for my 42mm SG Series 3. Was looking for a metal or leather band to dress-up the watch for more formal occasions. I'm pretty satisfied after getting the band sized properly at a local watch repair store :)

How is your Twist-o-Flex holding up? From some quick research, it seemed to have some mixed reviews on the finish. I'd definitely like to have this band for the nostalgia!

You cant really buy directly from taobao (it can be possible but its a bit difficult). What can you do is to order via an agent like Superbuy. I used it and it works flawlessly. Just make a superbuy account and enter the link from taobao product in the search box and add it in your cart. You can buy products from different sellers and have them ship together.

Tried that. Not much luck - couldn’t order it from that site. Anyone who can read Chinese give me some ideas on how to order from that site? The straps look really good though.

You can order it if you knew Chinese - You can message the seller directly and organise custom size bands and add in deployment buckles etc.

Their delivery is a bit complicated though - They first deliver to a local depot at no cost. From there you will get a notification to combine packages (from different sellers) if you want to. Then you pay a combined postage cost to get it shipped overseas. You can choose a direct street address (a bit more expensive) or to a local pick up point (usually a small chinese variety store in your city).

Since you have « old » (38/42mm) bands, do they fit your new watch (40/44mm) ?

I read somewhere that few stainless adaptators didn’t fit the new watches so I wanted to know before ordering

I have four replica bands from taobao and only one side of one lug (on the orange Feu Epsom) is slightly too small. But they all slide and lock into the new watch no problems.
