Hi Boardiesboi, I don’t know if the Hermes replica I got from that Taobao seller is Swift leather. Can you please ask the seller if the hermes brown replica is made of Barenia leather and please ask also the seller if the hermes indigo is made of swift leather. I appreciate your help. Thanks.

The promotional images on his site says they’re barenia and swift leather. They obviously won’t be the same quality as the real Hermès one but they’re definitely not fake leather or plastic. I left a message but he said he’s busy the last few days.

Another forum member messaged me and said he’s communicated with the seller in English via chat. He downloaded the app called Aliwangwang which is the messenger for Taobao. He managed to get seller to send the link bracelet sent directly to him. Maybe try that rather than going through the Chinese website?

I was able to finally get in touch with the Taobao seller that has the Hermes replicas and other bands.

I used this app on iOS to speak with them

I created an account on the Taobao website using chrome to have it translate into English.

Then you use the little slime looking icon to initiate a chat on your computer. I signed in via the chat all above and their contact information was ready to start speaking to.

They told me that they make this as close as possible to the real thing and shipping for a single tour leather band is about $66 with shipping.

I was told I could do a direct PayPal to them if I had issues ordering on the website.

Attached is a photo I took of the seller information from the chat app.

Those of you who have had interaction before, does this sound correct to you? I hope this is helpful for those who want to order the bands.

Also, have any of you used the deployment style bands? I think I would prefer this over the standard way to clasp a leather band.

I ended up getting the band today and it is pretty uncomfortable. The second strap that holds the band strap in is rubbing up against my skin and irritating it.

See attached photos. Stitching appears to be causing the irritation.

The quality is decent and I would imagine to be on par with other bands from places on Aliexpress. I am intrigued by Taobao bands as many of you have spoken about how close to the real thing they are.

At about $65, that is around $50 more expensive than most knock offs so I would hope the quality would be a huge step up.

Edit: I contacted the seller on amazon and they are sending me a new band. It might be a better investment to look at Taobao if you want genuine quality. However, it is a lot more.

I found the taobao seller mentioned here. Runs about 100 bucks Canadian. Swift leather he says. So interested to see how good it is. 50 bucks more than other sellers

Yeah, I've ordered about 30 bands from Urvoi. Including the 6th generation link band. It is the band that comes closest to the Apple original. I've had another before, from a different seller, but that was rubbish. This one even has the Apple link-release buttons. The leather bands are pretty good as well, as are the sport bands. They are however silicon, and not fluorelastomer. This brings some minor issues, like lint pickup with the darker bands, they are a tad bit lighter and a bit less rigid. They are, however, the best knockoffs i've seen so far.
