The Great "Third Party Band/Strap" Thread

Got a 22mm Watch Steward black TDM Minimalist strap as well as some strap adapters and have been rocking it on my 42mm Series 10 for over a month now. Band is great: it’s secure and stretchy so it’s comfortable all day no matter what.

I’d highly recommend The Watch Steward straps for any watch. Was rocking a nylon single-pass on my “Casioak” G Shock before getting an Apple Watch and it’s been equally as comfortable.

Also have a Nick Mankey Chrono-Grip with polished titanium hardware on preorder that will likely arrive in a few months. I’ll post some pics when that arrives.

Anyone have a lightweight brushed silver aluminum link-type band? So many of them are heavy and/or shiny. Now that I’m back to aluminum from SS, I’d like to find one to match.
 
Do any 1:1 Braided Solo Loop options exist anymore? All the ones I can find on Amazon and AliExpress have weird extra buckles or the fabric doesn’t extend all the way to the metal fastener ends.

It looks great. Does it attract lint easily? I’ve seen that as a common complaint with non-Apple bands.

Copyright claims??? I don’t see as many exact replicas of sport loops either 🤷‍♀️ on Amazon. Solo loops even harder due to the unique nature of the design.

How does this compare to nomads more expensive sport band so many Apple Watch Ultra users get?

🤯 had you ever got a 10 quid 💷 leather Apple band from Apple before? Got a leather link and modern buckle BNIB from the shops recently.
 
Recently got a Nomad Rocky Point band in the limited Orange Magma color and I LOVE it! I was initially worried that it would look too red in tone, but it’s a great orange color in person. It’s more substantial than the Ocean band I had been using on my AWU2 (black), which I like. I’ve been using various Nomad products over the years and they just have never let me down on quality or value, and this band is no different. Have already had several people compliment the band.

It came in today. Got it as a weekend strap since the buckle will scratch my laptop during work. Color and comfort are great! Nice and soft feeling, doesn’t seem to attract lint.

My only gripe is I wish it were a 22mm width strap. I imagine most silicone straps for the smaller Apple Watch are gonna be 19-20mm. Bummer but what can ya do.

Edit: based on another AliExpress listing which sells an identical strap but claims to use the same FKM as Apple’s straps, I’m pretty sure this is one of the PFAS straps. It’s too soft and the fact that it doesn’t attract lint is a red flag.

More sharper than ultra orange really accentuates the black Apple Watch Ultra! Nice combo.
