Glider Pro anyone>>>>hands down best game for Mac ever!!! ;):)

I also like BF2142 even though it sometimes runs slowly. Star Wars Battlefront was also good.

Hmmm...

1. Warcraft III
2. WoW
3. Oni
4. Squirrel Kombat (played that alot together with my bro, fun times.)
5. Halo

:D

Warcraft III :D
(i don`t know why but I find Wow extremely boring... at least the trial I played didn`t make me wanna buy it at all)

Easy!

1. Duke Nukem 3D
2. Hellcats Over the Pacific ( and the Leyte Gulf add-on)
3. Star Wars-Dark Forces
4. Maelstrom
5. Spectre ( cant get that sound out of my head!!!)

Newer classic for me: Call of Duty and United Offensive. Still, Duke Nukem rocks with great feel, ability to interact with almost anything ( trash cans, HVAC vents, etc) and great humor.

I can't believe nobody mentioned Harry the Handsome Executive. Any game that involves an overpowered staple gun wielded by an executive in a swivel chair has gotta top the list.

and of course
Marathon
Escape Velocity
Crystal Quest
Power Pete

Gotta go with Dark Castle if we're talkin' Mac-exclusives.

I had friends who bought Macs after playing Dark Castle on my 512k.
Before that, I had a friend who bought one after playing Sim City (the original, B&W).

I also loved Hellcats and FA-18 from GraphSim.

So many great memories.
But number 1 for me was / is Caesar III (everything Civ and AoE and SimCity wanted to be).

Hail Caesar! Second wasn't even close for me, unfortunately. I would rate the best games on addictive potential, and C III really was in a league of its own, in my opinion. How many wasted nights did I spend trying to build a better Rome and stave of the barbarians???

Quake Arena, Unreal Tournament and Star Wars Pod racer were all very cool, too, but let me not forget the one that got me started: Chuck Yeager's Air Combat! Screw the graphics, it was always "a great day for flying", as Chuck used to announce before each sortie!

Even when my new Mac Pro arrives, I will never give away my trusty G4 so I can always boot into OS 9 and get a visit from these old friends!

Definitely Harry the Handsome Executive! Anyone who's ever worked in corporate will find it funny.

Also Midnight Mansion.

I guess for Mac Native games, Blizzard games, specifically for me, Starcraft although I played SC all in my PC days.. soo awesome.

Gabriel Knight I really enjoyed. Have some good memories of staying at my best friend's house on weekends and playing those games non-stop.

Now, it's Age of Empires III and Civilization IV. But, BootCamp has enabled me to bring some of my favorite Windows games to the Mac - so the list is long.

Are most of you guys from 1995 or something? I mean, Crystal Quest!?...Marathon!?...come on, where are the Doom 3's or Sim 2's? The people who are listing games like that should really take a look at the games that were released in the last decade...

Anyway my top games are:

(not in order)

1. Max Payne
2. Fallout Series
3. Halo
4. Myst Series
5. World of Goo
6. World of Warcraft
7. Starcraft / Brood War
8. Diablo II: Lord of Destruction
9. Warcraft III / The Frozen Throne
10. Cave Story
11. Penumbra: Black Plague
