Thanks for the link and I'm assuming that the guide to replace the 13" hard drive is the same as the 15", is that safe to assume?

i only want to know two things.

how are the viewing angles and do the blacks wash out near the bottom?

when u tilt your head slightly side to side or up down do the colors shift dramatically?

i can understand a little shift though.

Maybe he's taking pictures... ;)

Ha- I am taking pics...need to find the damn cord!!! Do you want screenshots and real pics???

Viewing angles are pretty darn good- definately better than the whitebook.

Side to side to me is very good but if you move closer and above there is a little diminish in color.

Here is a little proof for now...

Ok Im home and I opened it. My LCD model # is 9C9F. I can tell you the viewing angel is 100 times better than the old Uni MacBook. In fact, its better than the Uni 15" MacBook Pro (not the new one). Very nice machine.
I had to remove the 10 screws on the botton to replace the hard drive. Once the bottom plate is off, you have access to the hard drive, battery and memory.

Ok- give me a minute to find the cord.

I might not be the best for screen quality reviews because I think it looks amazing and I don't have much to compare against except old powerbooks really but the color looks great, the screen can get really bright and viewing angles seem pretty decent.

Any pics you really want to see???
